Its easy to allow doubt to creep into our minds, slowly taking over and digging into our souls like poison vines. Little by little doubt take over every inch of our subconscious, until we’re so full of doubt and negative feelings that we stop believing in how amazing and beautiful we are. It can happen even to those who are confident and successful! I’ve struggled with depression, anxiety, and eating disorders my whole life. Affirmations, along with a daily dose of an SSRI (anti-depression medication) , have helped me pull my mind out of the darkness of self loathing and insecurities. Today, I’m going to share some of my favorite affirmations to conquer self doubt!
Say these to yourself multiple times a day, write them down where you will see them, make them your lock screen on your phone, just keep them in your mind as much as possible. You might feel silly saying wonderful things about yourself at first but after a few times you’ll start to believe in yourself again!
My Favorite Affirmations

I would like to add, if you are ever struggle with overwhelming depression, self loathing, thoughts of self harm, or fear that you may end your life AFFIRMATIONS ARE NOT ENOUGH. You need to speak to a medical professional. Affirmations are very powerful but if you have a chemical imbalance or are a danger to yourself they will not be enough. I use these in conjunction with medication! Please seek help. National Suicide Prevention Lifeline (1-800-273-TALK )
